BodyFitness App

The popularity of gyms have increased dramatically, but for those first timers eager to pump iron do not always know what exercises do what. Always having my phone on me i decided to see if my android phone can help me solve that problem. While searching in the app market i stumbled upon "BodyFitness" app. Being free i quickly downloaded it and after starting it up i was amazed at what i found. The BodyFitness app gives you three options at the start up menu. BMI calculator, View Favs, and Home. The BMI calculator takes your height and weight and calculates your body mass index. BMI is a rough estimate of what your appropriate weight should be in relation to your height. Although it does not take your frame type or build into consideration it could be used as a goal to shoot for ( consult your physician before attempting an extreme diet or exercise plan). Moving on, if you tap on the home button it takes you to another menu ( this is where the fun begins). The first button on the menu is exercise, and it gives you a list of different exercises to work out certain parts of the body. Such as Arms, Legs, Chest, etc. It also gives you the option of choosing excercises that work out certain muscles such as deltoids, pectorals, etc. It also has some basic yoga excercises with step by step instruction in how to perform the stances. This app has a lot to offer and is very useful for first timers in the gym or even the veteran that is looking to change it up a little. Thank you for reading and i'll be posting again soon!
