Word Up! is basically a word game. As basic and uninteresting as it sounds it is pretty addicting. The game gives you 16 letters to use and you have to spell as many words as you can by connecting the letters together within a three minute time frame. The minimum size of the word is three and it is not as easy as it sounds. The 're options for those with a monster vocab to make it 6 x 6 with a larger minimum word length for those looking for a challenge. But keeping it simple at 4 x 4 with the play time extended keeps it pretty laid back. I am not saying put down your Playstation 3 or Xbox controller but when you are stuck in a waiting room or stuck somewhere and need some brain stimulation. WordUp! has your back. It is free to download and its fun to play. Thanks for reading and tell your friends about my page!

Gowalla App
The Gowalla app is an app that allows you to check into different places as you visit them. For example, if you happen to be eating at a Denny's somewhere you can check in and find items and see who else has checked in at that location. If it has not been made yet you can proudly create the location for all to see that you were the first their. It is a pretty fun game especially if you like to go out and travel a lot. As you go along you can collect items and when you go to the official Gowalla website you can put your favorite items in the vault. It is rumored that some of the items you find can be redeemed for actual goods. I have yet to stumble upon any but you never know you could be the lucky one. Gowalla is free to download in the app market so go out and explore your world! Thanks for reading.

Pandora Radio App
This app has been around for some time and was made popular via website. The Pandora Radio app is one of the best apps in my opinion to have on your phone. Not only does our awesome droid phones dub as a mp3 player but if you get bored with your own music the Pandora Radio app allows you to listen to random mixes of music all day everywhere you go. It gives you numerous options to play more of that kind of music or bookmark the songs for later if you want to purchase it from amazon mp3 or whichever store you purchase your mp3s from. I use this app when I am at the gym, at home, and with my phone to stereo hook up even in my car! Like all the apps thus far Pandora Radio is free so what do you have to lose? Thanks for reading i will be posting again soon!

Codes App
The "codes" app is an app that gives you promotional coupons for redbox movie dispensers. This is a pretty neat app for those who enjoy movies and do not have the luxury of netflix or on demand on their cable systems. The codes app gives you the promotional code to use at certain store locations or ones that can be used anywhere. But the catch is you can only use them once per account. I've used the codes myself and i have gotten up to four free movies so far so i know it works. This app like all the apps i write about can be found in the Market app already installed on your phone. Thanks for reading I will be posting again really soon!

My Coupons App
If your a big shopper you are always going to try to find the best deal. Well on top of that how would you like to add coupons! The "My Coupons" app found in the market app on your phone does just that. It finds coupons for you and even gives you a scan able bar code to use at the register. Sometimes searching for coupons is not always easy but it can be pretty nifty. The other day i was at Barnes and Noble book store and behold the My Coupons app had a coupon for my purchase. I do not know if B & N give out coupons to those who are not members, but hey the coupons app hooked it up with 10% off my purchase. Thanks for reading and i'll be writing again soon!
Shazam App
Ever hear a song somewhere and you can not remember the song name or who sang it to save your own life? Well Shazam can solve that problem(most of the time). Like all the apps I have written about Shazam can be found in the market app on your phone and is free for download. Shazam utilizes the microphone on your phone and takes in the song being played (singing or rapping it does not work i tried it) and tags it. If it can not find it, it will notify you and ask if you would like to try again. If it is successful it gives you the title of the album, song, and artist who sang it. It also gives you the feature of searching it on You Tube and Amazon mp3. It can find music in the most random of artists/genres such as Funky Christmas by the Whispers from their holiday collection. This is a great application worth having especially if you really like music. You can even impress your friends with your music knowledge and guess the song then use the Shazam app as your reference to prove that your not wrong. Thanks for reading and i'll be posting again soon!

FxCamera App
The FxCamera app is a simple photo app that transforms your photo taken on your phone into something fun or funny. You can find it of course in the market app in your phone. in use the FxCamera app can transform your photos into ToyCam, Polandroid, FishEye view, Symmetricam, and even warholize your pic at the touch of a button. Out of the five i only found the fisheye view, symmetricam, and warholizer useful. This app is good for taking silly photos to post on your myspace or facebook accounts or if your bored and feel like taking some funky pictures to send your friends via text or email. Thanks for reading i'll be posting new stuff again soon.

BodyFitness App
The popularity of gyms have increased dramatically, but for those first timers eager to pump iron do not always know what exercises do what. Always having my phone on me i decided to see if my android phone can help me solve that problem. While searching in the app market i stumbled upon "BodyFitness" app. Being free i quickly downloaded it and after starting it up i was amazed at what i found. The BodyFitness app gives you three options at the start up menu. BMI calculator, View Favs, and Home. The BMI calculator takes your height and weight and calculates your body mass index. BMI is a rough estimate of what your appropriate weight should be in relation to your height. Although it does not take your frame type or build into consideration it could be used as a goal to shoot for ( consult your physician before attempting an extreme diet or exercise plan). Moving on, if you tap on the home button it takes you to another menu ( this is where the fun begins). The first button on the menu is exercise, and it gives you a list of different exercises to work out certain parts of the body. Such as Arms, Legs, Chest, etc. It also gives you the option of choosing excercises that work out certain muscles such as deltoids, pectorals, etc. It also has some basic yoga excercises with step by step instruction in how to perform the stances. This app has a lot to offer and is very useful for first timers in the gym or even the veteran that is looking to change it up a little. Thank you for reading and i'll be posting again soon!

Zedge App
The Zedge app was recommended to me by a friend. I was trying to make some ring tones and wallpapers on my computer at home but it was taking a little longer than i had planned. With the Zedge app you can find plenty of ring tones and wallpaper pictures and put them on your phone for free! Just download it from the app store on your phone, install and your ready to find over tens of thousands of free wall papers and tones. After installation just tap the search tab at the bottom and type in the subject your looking for and it will return with some options. Its a great app for those trying to customize their alert tones and backgrounds. I have had a lot of fun with this application i hope you download it and enjoy it as i have. Thanks for reading i'll be posting again soon!

Bank of America Mobile Banking Application
The Bank of America Mobile Banking Application is extremely useful when you need to check your balances or transfer money between accounts when an ATM isn't near by. Mobile Banking from Bank of America is a free application available for download in the Android Market Application. It utilizes your user name and password from your online banking account so no signing up or further information is needed ( if you don't have online banking already consult a Bank of America representative about getting it). The application allows you to check both pending and cleared transaction, pay e-bills, and as previously mentioned transferring of funds to your accounts. If you are still uneasy about using the application on your phone and rather speak to a representative the application also provides you with information on locations near by. As previously stated The Bank of America Mobile Banking Application is extremely useful for those who bank with B of A.
Thanks for reading i hope this provided some useful information.

Facebook App
The first application I downloaded for my phone was the Facebook app. It's a free download and its current version is 121. The Facebook app allows the user to use several functions that they could normally use on their home computer on their phone. The News feed feature allows the user to see their friend's updated statuses and even update their own. Comes in handy when you catch something funny or amazing while on the go want to share the picture or status with all your friends. New profile photos can be added or deleted on this app as well. You can also receive notifications, check your inbox, and edit your profile data. All of this is available on your Android phone when you download the Facebook app from the Android market application already installed on your phone.
Thanks for reading i hope this provided some useful insight.

Welcome to Droidtastical!
Hi I've been an Android phone user for nearly a year now. I have the G1 from T-Mobile, and only paying 79 bucks a month for unlimited text, internet surfing, and data I couldn't ask for more. I only have 500 anytime minutes and five favorites but hey I only use an average of 125 minutes a month. By providing as much entertainment as it has, this phone has been worth every penny thus far! It seems everywhere I go I am using my Android phone for something. With this blog i plan to write about several applications and widgets that I use and happen to come across. I hope it provides some useful information and if you don't have an Android phone already I hope this convinces you to buy one.
